Piece of Cake Birthday Card

My next-door neighbor's birthday was just before Halloween, so I made her this birthday card with a Halloween-inspired color theme.
I bought a set of copic markers about a year ago, and kinda played around with them but was never happy with the results. I had trouble with shading. Recently I've watched several how-to videos on YouTube on using copics, so I took a stab at it again. This wasn't the best image to try them out since all the colored sections are so small...but I've gotta start somewhere!

I made another card using copics that you can see the shading much better...I'll post it soon!

Thanks for looking :)

Supplies:
CTMH Piece of Cake stamp set; paper from stash (one of my very favorite paper stacks, I think it's Me & My Big Ideas); ribbon, sparkles, and brads from stash, copic markers
