Pre-Order the NEW CTMH Artbooking Cricut Collection!!!

CTMH has done it again...created another amazing Cricut collection!!! I am SO excited, I can hardly stand it! The news broke this morning at Convention at Disneyworld in Florida, and I am sure the room was squealing in excitement. It looks every bit as amazing as the last 2 Cricut collections, yet so different!

I am taking pre-orders again, so scroll down for the Paypal info. But in the meantime, here's more about the Artbooking Cricut Collection to whet your palate.
There are, again, 700 different cuts...amazing! This cartridge is geared toward 12"x12" scrapbook layouts and mini-books, plus there is another beautiful font. There are 15 different 12"x12" layout themes, and each theme will help you easily create several different coordinating layouts, all at one dial size, using just 2 buttons. Awesome, right?! Plus there are 10 themed mini-albums in various sizes.

The images include accents, borders, titles (in fun and different fonts), overlays, photo mats (in standard photo sizes), and more! Themes? The ones you've been asking for...birthday, new baby, vacation, friends, sports, Halloween, Christmas, and more!

Special offer?

Of course! When you pre-order, I'll give you FREE SHIPPING! (US only.) Plus I'll send you the brand-new Idea Book EARLY after you place your pre-order. If you find more MUST-HAVES (and you probably will), you can add more to your order and I'll have everything ship together on Aug. 1. If your order is over $150 you'll also qualify for Hostess Rewards!

Ready to Pre-order?

I'll be taking pre-orders up through the end of July, and will place your order first thing on August 1 when the new Idea Book is released! You'll receive your Artbooking collection right at your door, and you don't need to worry about remembering to order it when it's released!

To make things easy, I put an average tax rate of 8% into Paypal, but there is no shipping charge. You can also choose to add the Aug. Stamp of the Month for just $5 more. Look at how cute it is!!! Just use the drop-down box to add it to your order.

A True Thank You Rainbow Card

When I first saw this A True Thank You stamp I immediately thought it would be fun to color it with CTMH's new alcohol markers. So I did...and I love the look! I made this card for a team card swap, as well as Heart 2 Heart's challenge this week to use a favorite color combo. The sketch is from the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #7 a couple weeks back.

I LOVE color and couldn't decide which combo to use, so I used a rainbow of colors :) I paired it with the lovely black-and-white patterns from the For Always paper packet.

I covered the colored part with Stickles glitter. I had no problems with the markers bleeding, which is great because sometimes our red and pink inks runs when you add something liquidy on top.

Guess what?! You can still get this cute little stamp for only $2.95 for another week! Through the end of June, CTMH is offering this set, which is a preview from the upcoming Autumn/Winter Idea Book, as a special to raise money for the Tornado victims in Oklahoma. 100% of profits go to the American Red Cross. Get yours >

Head on over to Heart 2 Heart to see the other Designers' awesome projects! Both our A and B teams are participating this week since it's the last challenge of our term. I am bidding farewell as a DT member since I have a little one arriving in a couple of months. But a few designers are staying on so you'll see some fresh faces as well!

I've had a WONDERFUL time as a design team member and may be back in the future. I'll definitely still participate as time allows, so if my blog has been your reminder to participate you will still get some reminders :)

Happy creating!

Hello Tweety Thank You Card | H2H Photo Inspiration Challenge

This week's challenge at Heart 2 Heart is a vintage photo challenge. I love photo challenges because you can go in so many different directions...colors, theme, sketch... Here's what I came up with...

I used one of my favorite current stamp sets, Hello Tweety, and another oldie but goodie stamp set from the Sophia WOTG for the sentiment. The polka dot paper I used is from a retired paper pack called Twitterpated. I just loved that paper...I still have quite a bit of it :)

I used black and sorbet ink. The birdcages in the background are stamped in second generation (meaning I stamped them onto scrap paper first, then stamped again onto my card base without re-inking). You really can't see in the photo, but I added a little glitz glitter gel to the birdcage in a few spots. I've gotta add that bling somewhere!

Here is the photo inspiration. As you can see, I was inspired by the birdcage and colors.

If you'd like to participate in H2H's photo inspiration challenge, you have until the end of the month to link up! We'd love to see what you come up with. Be sure to check out their blog for the rules :)

Fun News + House for Sale/SOLD Card

Hello, friends!

Today I have some exciting news to share, along with a very special card.

My hubby got an awesome job at the University of Oregon, so next month we'll be moving from Seattle to Eugene. AND, we're buying our first house!!! We couldn't be more excited!

Of course, I am also less than 3 months away from having our first baby, so needless to say we're also a little overwhelmed and stressed. Plus next week I'm going "home" to San Diego for 2 weeks so hubby will be packing most of the house on his own (except for my craft room...that's hands off!). Then 2 days after I get home, we move. CRAZY!

Anyways, I wanted to share this super awesome card that my sweet and thoughtful friend Nichole made for me. I was so touched to receive it and am in awe at all the details that she put into it. I'm going to leave it out on my desk to look at until I need to pack it away to move :)

Here's a closer look at some of the detail...

Before I met Nichole about a year ago, she was strictly a scrapbooker. I am proud to take credit for introducing her to the world of cardmaking, because look at how awesome she is at it! :)

Thanks, Nichole! You're a true one-of-a-kind friend. I'm gonna miss you!!

Tropical Father's Day Card

Hello!
Today I have a Father's Day card to share with you. The challenge at Heart 2 Heart this week is "If you like Pina Coladas...let's go tropical!"

My dad likes to wear Hawaiian shirts, so I decided to make him a Hawaiian shirt card. I know I have already made several of the BBQ Apron Father's Day cards, but I already gave him that card a couple of years ago, so I went with something different for him :)

I used the Cricut Artiste to cut the shirt card base. It was so easy...it cut the whole base in that shape, and scored the collar lines and everything. There's also a pocket and tie cut if you want to add them as well. I actually cut it twice, once in cardstock and once in the Moondoggie paper. Since the Moondoggie paper is older, it is not cardstock-weight, so I did not want it to comprise the whole base.

I used wooden buttons from the mini medley wooden collection and durables artisan studs on the collar. I inked all the edges and around the buttons with Desert Sand ink and a sponge dauber. Easy and cute!

I hope you'll join us at H2H this week and make your own tropical-inspired piece of art! Just make sure you use mostly CTMH products and link up your project to their blog!

Happy crafting :)

Shop my Stash Update

THANK YOU, to each and every one of you who have helped me in clearing out my stash! I am so grateful that we could help each other out :)

I still have quite a bit left, and have also added more today, so if you haven't yet (or even if you have), take a look >

Here's another sampling of what's available. A lot of the stamp sets were quickly snagged up, but there are still a handful, as well as lots of paper packs, paper kits, embellishments, accessories, and MyCreations items.

The paper kits I've put together are from new and hard-to-find retired CTMH paper packs. Each kit is carefully hand-picked for a 2-page scrapbook layout or lots of cards, and includes 2 base cardstock sheets, 1 coordinating sheet of cardstock, 2 B&Ts (patterned paper), and a bunch of embellishments to go along with the paper. They've been very popular, so be sure to take a look! It's like getting a sampling of a bunch of CTMH embellishments without having to buy each package!

Here are some items that are currently available (but availability may change!) See everything >
