Artfully Sent Chevron Birthday Card & Envelope With Matching Liner

How adorable is this chevron birthday card? I made it for my sister-in-law and I have to say it's one of my all-time favorite cards. (And hers, too!)

The card base was cut with the new Artfully Sent Cricut cartridge. I still can't get enough of that cart! The word bubbles are one of my most-used cuts from the Artiste Cricut collection.

I played with a new CTMH stamp set called Lovely Birthday. And it is lovely to play with. It's only $9.95 and is a very versatile set--several images that work for anytime, not just birthdays!

Here it is opened up. I opted to cover the back panel of the card instead of putting the pattern on the front panel. This didn't give me much writing space, but that was okay with me. I knew my SIL would appreciate the cool effect. In order to give me some writing room I put the same word bubble on the inside front panel and the outside, but backwards. You could always write on the back of the card if you needed to.

These "have a happy day" and berries stamps are from new set called...wait for it... Have a Happy Day :) Another super versatile set!

Did you know that Artfully Sent also cuts envelopes and matching envelope liners?! I love the bracket-shaped flap on this envelpe, and the hot pink is a liner.

Look how cute the outside of the envelope is...I spruced it up with one of CTMH's adorable new stamp sets, Happy Mail. It's so fun for your envelopes to look cute even when they arrive in the mailbox!

Here's another envelope that CTMH made and decorated with this same stamp set.

Thanks for visiting, happy stamping!

Artfully Sent Cards Video + Hello Sunshine Card

Hello and happy Friday!

I am back with another Artfully Sent card. Plus I made a video to show you and explain all the cards I have made with this cartridge...see below!

This is another one we created at Convention, and I actually finished it there! But I am just now sharing it with you. (Unless you are a fan of my Facebook page--I already posted it there. If you are not--go LIKE it!

I made a video showing most of the cards I've made so far with Artfully Sent. I explained some techniques and how-to's while showing close-ups, because I know it's hard to see and explain everything here.

So watch my video below or HERE

Thanks for stopping by!

Kailyn & A Family Photo

Hi there!
I wanted to pop in and share a cute family photo we got over the weekend. My cousin and her husband came down from Seattle to visit and we strolled around downtown Eugene. We decided to try getting a group selfie to send to our family and we got a great one—the first shot! :)

And because she's so darn cute, here's another one of just Kailyn. She is such a happy girl...she loves going out and about in her stroller.

Be back soon with more crafting! I just edited tons of photos that I was behind on—so much to share!

Chalk It Up & Wanderful "Happy Little Life" Baby Scrapbook Layout

Hello! Today I have another scrapbook layout to share with you.

I'm finally getting more scrapbooking done of my little sweetie! She was only about 5 weeks old in this photo--this photo was taken almost exactly 1 year ago! My sister was here in Oregon visiting and we went to a park on the river and got some great shots with the changing of the leaves.
(click photo to see larger)
This layout was one designed for us to create at Convention. I got mine started, but since I had Kailyn with me I did not finish it there. It features a wide variety of new products! Would you have thought about combining Chalk It Up and Wanderful papers? Well, look how great they go together!

I especially love that alphabet font. And the doodling around the title is super cute and trendy. It's so easy to do and makes a huge difference. We got new black journaling pens recently that are great for this technique.

TIP: Use Archival Black ink for a bolder, darker black for your stamped images. It will stain your stamps a bit, but worth the difference over regular black dye ink.

Thanks for visiting!
