Make Two Cards from One 4"x6" Pocket Card + Scraps from Make Waves Paper Packet

I have two cards and a quick process video for you today. I love the colors and patterns that are in the Make Waves paper pack. It looks at first like a mermaid theme (to much delight from my daughter!), but it's so versatile. If mermaids aren't your thing, you can use the patterns on the opposite side and you have some beautiful, soothing colors and patterns to work with. There's also a coordinating cardstock pack available, but I didn't even need any cardstock for these cards!

I love that CTMH's paper packs come with a cut-apart page for pocket cards. Sometimes I use them for my pocket scrapbooking/Project Life, but they also work well on cards!
These cards use the February stamp of the month from Close to my Heart, which is no longer available, but you could easily use any sentiment stamp such as Many Congratulations, Happily Ever After or Flourishes that are currently available.
I stamped the sentiments in Archival Black ink. I like to use archival because it gives a bolder/darker impression. It does stain your clear acrylic stamps a bit, but I'm ok with that.

I kept this card very simple; just added some black shimmer trim (it's like tape - I'm addicted), clear sparkles, and Make Waves sequins (which are now out of stock).

Here's my process video. You can watch it below or over on YouTube.

I'd love if you subscribe to my channel!
